We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on email hosting. If you're not happy, we'll refund your hosting fee (domain registration fees are non-refundable as domains are registered immediately).

No. The price you see at checkout is what you pay. Domain registration and email hosting (£75/year) are shown separately so you know exactly what you're paying for.

Yes, you can cancel at any time through your account portal or by contacting support. Service continues until the end of the paid period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

Services renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. We'll send renewal reminders via email at least 14 days before renewal so you're never caught off guard.

Yes. Your plan includes 10 email accounts per domain (including info@). If you need more than 10, contact support and we will help you get set up.

Email Setup & Configuration

They stay exactly where they are. This is a brand new email for your business - you can keep using your personal email as normal. Many tradespeople use both - personal for friends and family, professional for customers.

Go to your mailboxes page in the portal, click your email address, and download the iOS configuration profile. Open the file on your phone and follow the prompts. Enter your email password when asked and you are done.

The easiest way is to use the Setup Guide in your Email Accounts dashboard — it walks you through each step. Your My Trade Email server settings are: Incoming: imap.stackmail.com (Port 993, SSL), Outgoing: smtp.stackmail.com (Port 465, SSL), Username: your full email address.

Yes. Use the "Webmail" link next to your mailbox on the Email Accounts page, or go directly to your My Trade Email webmail at stackmail.com and sign in with your full email address and mailbox password. You can also configure desktop clients like Outlook, Apple Mail, or Thunderbird — use the Setup Guide in your Email Accounts dashboard.

Log into your portal, go to Email Accounts, and click "Change Password" next to the mailbox you want to update.

Domain Ownership & Management

Yes, it's yours. You own the domain, not us. We'll help you transfer it to another provider at no additional cost. Transfer must be requested within 30 days of service termination.

Absolutely. For .uk domains, we provide the IPS tag change. For other domains (.com, .net, etc.), we unlock the domain and provide an auth code. All transfer options are available in your domain detail page.

We're working on support for bringing your own domain. This feature is coming soon! In the meantime, you can register a new domain with us and be up and running in minutes.

Support & Troubleshooting

WhatsApp us (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm). Real people, based in the UK, who speak plain English. No call centres, no runaround. You can also email support@mytrademail.co.uk and we typically respond within 24 hours.

First, verify your settings match your My Trade Email server details (incoming: imap.stackmail.com, outgoing: smtp.stackmail.com). Check that your email password is correct. If it is still not working, try removing and re-adding the account on your device. Still stuck? WhatsApp us (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) or email support@mytrademail.co.uk.

Check your spam/junk folder first. Verify that the sender has the correct email address. If you just set up your domain, DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to fully propagate. Contact support if issues continue.

Verify your My Trade Email outgoing (SMTP) server settings: smtp.stackmail.com, port 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS). Ensure your password is correct. Some networks block outgoing email - try a different WiFi or mobile data. Contact support for help.

Security & Privacy

Yes. Your emails are stored securely in UK-based data centres with encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. We implement regular security audits, access controls, and automated backups.

No. We never read, scan, or sell your email content. Your emails are private. We only access email metadata (sender, recipient, timestamps) for service delivery and abuse prevention.

You can export your emails before cancellation. After account closure, email content is deleted within 30 days. We retain certain business records (invoices, etc.) for 7 years as required by UK law.

Yes, we fully comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your data is stored in the UK, and you have full rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information.
